The St Francis of Assisi Giving Tree appears in the vestibule on the first weekend of Advent.  Proposed/suggested gifts for underprivileged families are hung as Christmas Tree ornaments for the parishioners to take and fulfill.  Gilmour Knight participation may range from simply buying gifts and returning them to the vestibule at a subsequent weekend Mass to working in the rectory basement to handling the logistics of distribution.
