Gilmour Council #310 Trust Created

AUGUST 18, 2021. The Board of Directors of Gilmour, Inc. today funded the newly-created Gilmour Council #310 Trust with $900,000 in gifts of stock, cash, and mutual funds. Payments from the endowment are directed by the Gilmour Council. The council trustees will manage the investments and payments into the future.

Sherwin-Gilmour Party Center Sold

MARCH 31, 2021. The Board of Directors of Gilmour, Inc. has sold the Sherwin-Gilmour Party Center to Diana Cherish, who owns the well-established catering business at the hall. The home of Gilmour Council #310 since 1960, the party center will be operated by Ms. Cherish as “Gilmour Hall”.

Gilmour Council #310 plans to remain at the 5947 Mayfield Road address as tenant and will continue to conduct its meetings and operations as usual. Proceeds from the building sale will fund an endowment that will support in perpetuity the charitable efforts of the council.
